Guide Lucerne is an association of dedicated city guides who present Lucerne with passion and expertise. We are committed to providing high-quality city tours and promoting cultural understanding of our city.

Our association consists of members with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and languages. Together, we work to offer visitors an authentic and enriching experience.

Our association was founded in 1958 under the name "Association of Tour Guides of the City of Lucerne" to promote the professional interests of its members with increasing tourism and to establish uniform minimum rates. Over the many years, the association has developed further, grown, and naturally also modernized. In 2014, the name was changed to "Verein der Reiseleiter und Reiseleiterinnen Luzern". short VRL .

With the club meeting in 2025, we have now entered a new era. The website needed a refresh, and the long name was also no longer contemporary. Therefore, it was changed to 'GUIDE LUCERNE.' In this context, of course, a new logo was also needed. In short: a new appearance and a new name, but still the same high quality regarding our work.

Because it still applies: every member is certified and further training is self-evident for all of us.
