About us

Name and seat

The Association of Tourist Guides of Lucerne is a society pursuant to article 60 and following of the Swiss Code of Civil Law. The association is denominationally neutral and politically independent. It has its seat in Lucerne.

 

 

Aim and purpose

The Association of Tourist Guides of Lucerne has 50 members and offers an attractive choice of sightseeing tours, thematic city tours, cultural walks, excursions and visits to different regions of Switzerland and the neighbouring countries. Guiding services are available in more than a dozen languages including Russia and Chinese.

 

Each member is a certified guide with a specific thematic knowledge. Our organization was founded in the forties of last century and since then it has covered a wide range of activities. Further education is a must to our guides and you can expect a qualified guiding service.

 

Our corporate aim is to give our guests an insight into our cultural and historical heritage both on local and national level.
