Bernese Oberland

The Brünig pass links Central Switzerland to the Bernese Oberland. Brienz, a pittoresque little village on lake Brienz is well-known for its wood carvings. Interlaken lies on the way to Grindelwald and the famous Jungfrau region.

Bernese central plateau – Emmental – Berne, the capital of Switzerland

On a journey to the centre of cheese production you drive past typical farming villages scattered over a hilly countryside. A visit to Berne, the capital of Switzerland, is a must. From the rose garden you get a first impression of its historic part that has been a World Heritage Site since 1983.

Eastern Switzerland

The centre of attraction in the eastern region of Switzerland is St Gall with its famous monastery - another World Heritage Site worth a visit.

Ticino

On the south side of the Alps you enjoy a mild climate in a Mediterranean atmosphere with palm trees, unspoilt valleys and impressive monuments. Explore the quaint narrow lanes and bustling squares of Bellinzona, Lugano, Locarno and Ascona.

Schaffhausen – Lake Constance

Schaffhausen is the northernmost town of Switzerland. It is well-known for its historic quarters and colourful bay-windows, the well preserved Munot fortification and the ancient Romanesque monastery of Allerheiligen. At a short distance you can watch the Rhine Falls, the biggest waterfall of Europe, or visit Lake Constance with the lovely Isle of Mainau.

Western Switzerland – Lake Geneva

The Swiss shore of Lake Geneva stretches from the cosmopolitan city of Geneva across a beautiful wine-growing area to Montreux with the mighty Chillon castle

Zurich –centre of culture and economy

Zurich, the biggest city of Switzerland, has a lot to offer: cultural highlights, a Romanesque church, stained-glass windows by Chagall, historical guild houses, not to mention its Bahnhofstrasse, the world-famous shopping paradise. Join us for a walk in the historic centre, the university district and along the lovely lakeside.
